The client’s brief was to give her yard a new life. Updated to create spaces more suitable to their growing family. A new feature entry, paving, seating area, fencing, and planting to the front garden. The new fencing increased the privacy of the front garden. This increase in privacy combined with easier access to this space now allows the family to use the front garden.
An addition of a pool to the rear garden created a focal point for the entertaining area and provided the opportunity to be creative in ensuring privacy from neighbours. The hub of this rear garden is the addition of an outdoor kitchen including a pizza oven connected to the new dining deck. These areas create an all-year-round outdoor living space.
A fire pit area with feature brick paving and a wall with built-in seating allows for the family to warm up on those cooler winter nights. The planting was designed to feel fresh and lush, with different textures and colours, as well as a productive garden with fruit trees and herbs.
